ON THE EDGE OF SPRING

The fashion world is currently all a buzz with Fashion Week happening around the world. Although we are seeing Autumn/Winter 2013-14, this is a moment for the consumer to start thinking about muddling some spring fashion into their current winter wardrobe.

I will show you some examples of this below and how to go about putting it all together. Remember what I have said in my past blogs, as men we want to look put together and still kick some ass. This can be accomplished by adding subtle edge to your look.

Laid back Cali. Light colors on top with a tan blazer (try linen cotton blend), blue print shirt and switch up the shoes to desert boot, sneaker or brown leather shoe.

Cardigan Chic. This is your chance to go from day to evening per the left side of this image. The cardigan replaces the blazer here. By adding a leather shoe to your denim outfit, you add some sophistication. Stick with a darker palette. The left side is another laid back, comfortable look on the lighter side. Note the layering.

Bond…James Bond, Chanel your inner bond gentlemen. Pick out a classic suit that fits your frame. If you can throw a football in your suit then its too big. Try sizing down.

Here are some pairings to help get you going. The tie is your accessory, so feel free to add your color here. I also suggest a pop of color in your pocket square. These two pieces can clash; it does not have to match your tie.

“The VoKARE Man” Classic, Edgy…Perfect!
